Warshington DC

So the yearbook photo staff took a trip to D.C. over the weekend. We got to watch the judging of the White House News Photographer Association Contest at National Geographic . It was neat to see their process of picking the winners...I was really surprised how easily they tossed out what I thought were amazing images.

Oh hey Pete and AP Editor.

Didn't really have too many opportunities to shoot though. And I have a "wild card" assignment due for 222 tomorrow with nothing to turn in. It's actually pretty sad. I really should be shooting more.

On that note.... anyone have an idea for a photo story? I'm kind of stuck on this one.

Busy Busy Busy

It seems like I've been crazy busy lately. I can't wait until I can slow down and breathe again. I'm just not sure when that will be.....

Some shots from Sibs weekend:

And finally, thanks for helping me with my camera. (I still want a D700 though. Just sayin')

So, I own a Canon 40 D and have always shot with Canon, but I checked out a Nikon D700 yesterday and it was amazingggggg. It just makes me think even more that there is something seriously wrong with my camera. (The focusing on it is awful. Does anyone know how to fix that? At one point Joel did something to it so it back focused? and it worked fine for awhile, but not so much anymore. Please help =( )

Amanda and I trying to get our praying assignment done. Didn't work out so well. We went to about 5 different churches with no luck.

I didn't realize how many churches there are in Athens though. Maybe no one is aware and that's why we couldn't find anyone praying.

Oh well.
I probably could have found a decent shot if I wasn't such a pansy about approaching people.
